Featured Resource: SAGE Research Methods Online

SAGE Research Methods Online (SRMO) is a research methods tool created to help researchers, staff and students with their research projects. SRMO links over 100,000 pages of SAGE’s book, journal and reference content.  It contains content from books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and handbooks, journal articles, and newly commissioned videos. Researchers can explore methods concepts to help them design research projects, understand particular methods or identify a new method, conduct their research, and write up their findings. Since SRMO focuses on methodology, it can be used across all disciplines.

Temporary Problem with Journals & eBooks

Following the Library system upgrade this morning, we have identified a problem with linking to electronic journals and ebooks within the Library Catalogue. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. You can still access electronic journal articles using Findit. Search for your article title, or use the Advanced Search and type the journal name in the “From this publication” box. If you want to search a particular issue add the relevant details to the Volume and Issue boxes. Contact a Library staff member if you need assistance.

Food and Drink Policy Relaxed

One of the things students told us in a recent survey about the new Learning Common area inside the Bush Court entrance of the Library at South Street Campus was that you want to be able to eat and drink in this common area. We agree with you and as a trial the Food and Drink Policy will be relaxed for students in this area.

Now you can bring covered drinks and cold food with you to study or relax between classes.

Please remember to dispose of your rubbish responsibly in the bins located in this area or around Bush Court.

Library system downtime Tuesday 17 January

The Library Catalogue, ECMS, databases and My Library will be unavailable from 6.00am until approximately 9.00am on Tuesday 17 January to enable the system to be upgraded. We apologise for any inconvenience.
