Library South Wing Lift - Out of order starting Friday 1st Aug

The lift in the south wing of the South Street Campus Library will be shut down a few days earlier than expected, from late Friday 1 August to 26 September 2014, to facilitate preparations for the complete lift replacement. There will be a considerable amount of disruption, during this time, although we will work to keep this to a minimum.

Access to the first and fourth floors will be only available using the stairs. If you are unable to negotiate the stairs you may request items be collected for you, either through existing Equity arrangements, by emailing loans@murdoch.edu.au or by asking at the Library Enquiries desk at the entrance of the library.

As a result of the noise expected on the fourth floor, we will be temporarily moving the Silent area to Level 2. However, there will still be a certain amount of noise and you may wish to find alternative silent study areas for this period of time.

We apologise for this inconvenience but this work must be undertaken and we appreciate your cooperation.
