Upgrade to Library computers
IT Services will be upgrading the computers in the North Wing and Link on levels 2 and 3 of the Library over the next three days, starting on Friday 27th April. This will be done in stages to minimise disruption. Check our computer availability page to see where computers will be available during this time.

Problem with off campus access
Update: this has now been resolved
We have been alerted to an issue with accessing Library resources from off campus. We are working with IT Services to fix this as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience.

ANZAC Day public holiday
We’ll be closed on Wednesday 25th April for the ANZAC Day public holiday. The 24/7 Learning Common at the Geoffrey Bolton Library will remain open; use your ID card to swipe in at the Level 2 entrance.
Short downtime for Library resources Wednesday 25th April
Due to a scheduled maintenance to our systems, there will be a short downtime to
Library resources on Wednesday 25th April from 9pm WST for around 20 minutes.
Affected services include off campus access to online resources, the Library Catalogue, My Library and borrowing (renewals, requests).
If you experience difficulties outside of these hours, report it to digitallibraryservices@murdoch.edu.au.

Visit our new Library website
We’re excited to announce the launch of our new Library website. You can visit the new site now: http://www.murdoch.edu.au/library/
We’ve listened to your feedback and have been working hard to improve your experience online. Our primary objective was to make it easier for you to find information about the Library, our services and facilities. We’ve done this through clearer navigation choices, more useful information and better page layouts.
Additionally, we’re improving the way you can access our support services via these specialised pages for students, teaching staff and researchers. We’ve also been able to update the look and feel to match the new Murdoch University website. Plus the site now works on mobile devices too!
You can continue to use the current Library website library.murdoch.edu.au until early May. We’ll let you know when that site will made unavailable closer to the date.

We’re making it easier for you to get help from our Library Rovers; you can now chat to them via Facebook. If you have a quick question or just need help locating a book in the Library, just direct message the Library Rovers and they’ll get right back to you (weekdays from 10am to 4pm).
